The Eternal Imperium of Yag’Mirl (as they like to call themselves), would be described by most as an ancient force of pure evil. Much of the south of the Imperium is conquered land that only remains under the fist of the Empress through militant force and ever present suppression. The majority of people that supported or benefited from the rule of the Imperium are either dead or displaced with much of the original loyal northern lands now a barren waste after the Day of Dread.

If you ask someone about the history of the Imperium, you will almost always get a slightly different story. The details that remain consistent are that the Imperium feels as though it has a divine claim to the entirety of Draisomus that stretches back to the creation of the world itself.
