The Church of Ostela is an anomaly in Draisomus. While temples and other places of worship to the Sovereigns exist in every city and nation, they typically vary based on the region. This is especially true is smaller villages outside the cities where local traditions dominate. This behavior is starkly different in Ostela, where the government exerts its power to standardize and mandate uniformity in every aspect of worship.

This is most apparent in the leadership of the nation, the High Reverend, the highest authority in both political and religious matters.
